Amusk is a sorcerer Jussack who was given the task to bring Maerad to Arkan in The Riddle. According to Nim, he is "the most powerful of all the Jussacks." The other Jussacks in his group, despite being the same people, "referred to him in varying degrees of fear."
Personality[]
Amusk is a cruel, savage man. He refers to Maerad with contempt, making remarks over her sex, and does not take her humanity into any consideration. This is seen when he examines Maerad in detail, as if she were "livestock", and when he uses his sorcery to paralyze her.

Amusk bears the same pale skin of all Jussacks and has a thin, cruel face.
